8.8.16- I've been back in the San Francisco Bay Area for about a year now. Take a look at my Instagram feed (khaasphoto) for recent pictures and exploits. 1.11.11 - I leave for India today! On a one-way ticket. Check in with the Everything is Everything blog for periodic updates. In the late summer/early fall, I walked over 1,100 miles on the Pacific Crest Trail. Photos from the hike are on the blog. I projected images on a building for the last Oakland Art Murmur of 2010, which you can see here. 7.18.09 - These days, new work and updates appear on my photo blog, Everything is Everything, but not so much here, so go there instead! Local blogs SFist and Mission Mission featured my blog post of SF's June Critical Mass last month. I had fun projecting my photos a couple times in June; most recently at the Elbo Room with my brother's band, the Jacob Fred Jazz Odyssey, and before that, over at Go For a Loop Studios with 3 projectors and local electronic musicians feie. 5.5.09 - There's a Chinese Acura commercial featuring a famous Chinese actor in which you can kinda see my photos in the background for about two seconds (at mins. 4:23-4:25) inside Zonal. Watch it.
4.5.09 - On April 17th, once again, I will project images on the building at Hayes & Octavia in SF. I will be introducing some images with added text made especially for projection like this.

12.5.08 - Tonight I am projecting pictures large! on the side of a building at Hayes and Octavia during the Hayes Valley Block Party. Also, I have posted pictures from my 700-mile walk along the northern part of the Pacific Crest Trail on my blog.
7.15.08 - I have been traveling in South America in the last 6 months and had not updated this website since Dec. '07. Instead, I have ben uploading hundreds of images to my blog Everything is Everything at www.kevinhaasphoto.blogspot.com where I have posted some pictures from the last 3 years of walks, bike rides and my old apartment in San Francisco as well as the European tours with JFJO. But most of the posts on my blog are from this year's travels in Argentina and Chile where I was learning Spanish, volunteering on WWOOF farms, backpacking among stunning mountains and visiting cities and friends. 8.6.07 - 'conditions are perfect' at the michelle o'conner gallery at 17th & mission in san francisco: opening(s) are aug 24th and sept 8th. i am honored to exhibit my kaliedoscope pictures (and debut some new ones) alongside the work of mind-blowing artists george pfau and chason matthams.
7.20.07 - ten of my kaliedoscope pictures will be hanging up at toad's in san francisco's mission at 26th & Valencia for the next month. the group show opens this friday evening from 5:30 to 11. the show relates to this year's green theme of burning man. also, i still have work available for sale at zonal in hayes valley.
6.7.07 - i just moved. i am now an apprentice on a wondrous farm called camp joy tucked away in redwoods and mountains near santa cruz. also, i will have a photograph in a benefit auction called picture progress to support the League of Young Voters on June 15th at Red Ink Studios near 7th & market in san francisco.
3.30.07 - one of my pictures was selected for the TechArtIII exhibition at the South Shore Arts Center, april 13th-may 20th. The show is part of the Boston Cyberarts Festival.
